Surinamese people love to eat. These are the times I went out to eat at ‘Blauwgrond’. A neigbourhood in Paramaribo with lots of Surinamese Indonesian (Javanese), restaurants, which we call Warungs. The people in/from Suriname with Indionesian descent we call Javanen.

Fashion Diva in Suriname part 1: the first week

Like I said in my post “Back on the day of love” posted on Valentine’s Day I was in Suriname at the beginning of this year. I came back with lots of inspiration just like my holiday before in august. Here are some pictures of me in Suriname in the first week.

It certainly is time to do just that. Like I said before in my previous post “Back on the Day of Love” it is time to step it up again. It’s not like I haven’t done anything in the past few weeks to write about. It’s just that I’ve been so busy with a lot of personal stuff that I didn’t take the time to do a few posts. Cause I did promise to post about my stay in Suriname and I will do that.

Hello dear readers, I can’t believe my last post was already two months ago. Due to the holidays I didn’t spend time on my blog, so sorry for that. And a few days after new year there was some tragic news in my family, which was reason for me to go to Suriname for a few weeks. Further details I won’t discuss here.
